What is “wine oak”? Reclaimed oak staves, used in wine-aging process at California wineries, barn door hardware, natural oil finish

This sliding door, with randomly angled planks and rustic texture, covers the inside of the pantry and shows off the natural colors created in the wine-aging process. The pantry was built with a high-quality, pre-finished plywood but edged with wine oak for it's unique textures and hues. We also built a platform bed and a office cabinetry for the home from wine oak.
